that’s awwwesome :biggthumb:

Re: Transport

My preferred mode of transportation:

My own feet (wherever it makes sense). I don’t like to use the car for short distances.

Interestingly the safest mode of transport is the plane. Whenever a plane crashes it’s big news of course. But there is far more people dying in car accidents, etc.

But hum ne jana kahan hai?

Re: Transport

One of the reasons why I chose to live in the city I live in is because of how high it scored in walk-ability when I was researching the northeastern portion of the US. I love walking and so I’d say, generally, that’s my preferred mode of transportation but obviously that mode is limited when you’re talking about needing to go great distances. So I’d have to agree with @Umer about planes. If I relied on only my feet or even my car, I’d never see 90% of my loved ones haha!

If I didn’t walk, I’d miss so many beautiful areas of this city:

I love my Yukon Denali, when we went camping a few days we slept in it facing the ocean, plus I got a huge cargo box on top so I was able to make it a house on wheels. Used to love bicycling also and yes walking and hiking and climbing.

Re: Transport

It depends on where I am and where I’m going.

Re: Transport

I think walking or cycling is the way to go. Unfortunately, down here in Houston (wretched burbs) you can’t get anything done on foot. The neighborhoods down here aren’t human friendly at all. Public transportation is non-existent. No wonder we have an obesity epidemic down here.
