*Stories published in the media that according to the TI Pakistan National Corruption Perception Survey 2006, President Musharraf’s government is more corrupt than the governments of Prime Ministers Benazir Bhutto and Nawaz Sharif ***are absolutely incorrect **as they are on a totally erroneous reading of the Transparency International’s Survey, the statement concluded.
Re: Transparency International clarifies results about corrupt governments
Shukran yaara. I am still in my ‘second home’ Egypt enjoying myself and generally being a shaitaan when I am not doing the serious stuff of work and stuff :p, hence I get little time for the net.
Ironically, I was speaking to a TI person the other day about the Pak media reports (or rather distortions) and she asked me to go their website for the clarification story. Not that this will stop the anti-Musharraf liars claiming this and that about corruption, but the TI has set the record straight.
Go to go now some more partying do. The Arabs party (and eat) all the way to Sehri you know - such a great bunch of people.

der aayad durust aayad. While Musharraf may not be perfect, only a blind person would say that he's not doing a better job than his two immediate predecessors
