I just got 4 new tires installed in my Honda Accord. However, the transmission is not shifting smoothly since then, and the car is driving very “heavy”. Is there any correlation between these 2 events? the car has an automatic transmission. Did the tire change people did something wrong? Thank you in advance for your advice/suggestion.
hard to think of a direct correlation b/w the two - so if we take out that "transmission not shifting smoothly" part, then the "drag" that you're feeling could be due to a chance that wrong size tires got mounted, so many wanna verify the tire size.
xmission shift acting up i.e hiccups, taking longer to shift, rpm shooting up with no power being delivered etc, they are symptoms of a different kind of problem.
