Translations/Transliterations of Urdu Novels

Folks - please share links to any translations of urdu novels here.

Also - do you guys find that the there is SO MUCH lost in translation?
I recently read an Umera Ahmad novel and I was told she’s a superb writer. Ya Allah was I disappointed tho.
Her story was fantastic - but her prose was terrible; there were a million little grammer errors. I’m trying to decide if this is because of bad translations.

There are few novels available in English, but I don’t know quality of translation work. @muqawwee123

The way a story is being told differs in translation and original besides that Peer-e-kamil was very poorly translated. They are working on audio episodes for it's sequel Aab-e-hayaat.I think that's a better option than translation and I hope they get volunteers for that.

Peer e Kamil in urdu is fantastic. English translation was meh! Especially after you're read the Urdu one.

Re: Translations/Transliterations of Urdu Novels

apart from the translations mentioned in that thread, there has been English translation of Intizar Hussain’s novel ‘Basti’.

I think the translation of Sharr’s novel ’ Firdos e Bareen’ written in background of Hassan Bin Sabah is a must read.
