I think our urdu proverbs have so much wisdom behind it that we really ought to share in with the rest of the world therefore we should translate as any proverbs as we can.
so here goes..
i.e. tael dekho, tael ki dhar dekho.
i.e. bandar kya janay adrak ka mazza
i.e. banya ka baita kuch dekh kar hi gira ho ga

**1. naach na aaye aaNgan TeRhaa = the dais/stage is always crooked for a trainee dancer
2. ghar kii murGhii daal baraabar = home grown chicken and lentil soup are the same
4. subHo kaa bhoolaa shaam ko ghar aa jaaye to bhoolaa nahiiN kahlaataa = if a person gets stranded in the morning and returns in the evening is NOT called a LOST person
OR
stranded in the morning, returns in the evening isn’t called a lost person****
the following proverb is in Farsi but is widely used in Urdu:****
der aayad, durust aayad = der aaye, durust aaye = a little late is better than never!**
