i had noticed that most Indian Muslims say Khuda Hafiz while Pakistani Muslims said Allah Haafiz. when i came to Canada and had interactions with Pakistani folks, i started saying Allah Haafiz which i admit is more appropriate to say. :)

really? in pakistan i have seen people commonly uing both of them.
allah is an arabic word while khuda is an urdu word with the same meaning.

it has been a long time since i last heard some one using Khuda hafiz (even though i still use it). Also know people in family who i remember used to say Khuda hafiz years ago but they all use Allah Hafiz now.
