to my PC. How do I do that? This guy at the shop I purchased it from said the CD which came along with it has to be installed on my PC and then I can do that and I do not need anything else. I have installed the CD on my PC but I cant transfer the pictures 
Please tell me what I need to get to do that.

Bluetooth (both on laptop/PC and phone) ... else you gotta get the data cable and transfer files using the program that came on the CD.

this is the most silly part. i always thought i had bought a bluetooth pc. turns out, only the mouse and keyboard work on bluetooth. so i need to buy that silly data cable which i didnt want to.

You can pick up a USB Bluetooth adapter from ebay or something for under $20. Pick up a thumbdrive too while you are there :)

the ericsson comes with a memory card right? take it out put it into to card reader on computer if you dont have a card reader then go out and buy one. costs about $15

Mansoor - yes, there is a memory card but i havent used it to take pictures yet. so you mean i should always save pictures on that. “card reader” would that something be specifically from sonyericsson or can be any brand? id check out the market later.

oh i mean i would like to purchase something from the local market rather than from the internet and yes those pictures are saved on the memory card which came with it and now i only need to transfer to my pc.

yeah, i was thinking id call the same stupid place.
oh now i understood what TofiBaba meant by emailing it. using gprs? ive been trying to connect to gprs/ewap since ive purchased this new mobile but cant. im supposed to book a complaint but keep forgetting.
data cable. is there some specific cable i need to get for this mobile make/model or any i can get?

yah GPRS is one option if you have it in your service. You have to set it up though. You need login/password/smtp/imap etc settings for it before it will work. Only your service provider can help with that. We cant :p
I am not sure if your mobile can be equipped with a data cable or not. Data cable is nowadays old fashioned, most fones have bluetooth or infrared. But to transfer the data or pictures to your PC, you most likely need a USB bluetooth adapter. But thats another issue altogether.

yeah that’s why i said im supposed to book a fault with my s/p about my gprs/ewap not connecting. i have configured it but doesnt work.
ohh… so this is why TofiBaba wasnt able to help me with the cable data. so id try to look for usb bluetooth adapter from the local market.
