Transfer of Power - 1947

’ I have no hesitation whatsoever in affirming that present Indian Cabinet is implacably determine to do all in its power to prevent the establishment of dominion of Pakistan’.

These are not the words of any Muslim League leader.. This was informed by Field-Marshel Sir Claude Auchinleck, who was appointed by British Government to stay to supervise the division of armies’ goods.

How Pakistan survived in such circumstances is not less than a miracle. How did it survive and who helped in such survival?

Re: Transfer of Power - 1947

Pakistan was promised to get Rs.750 million but the Indian Government refused to give .Pakistan received only 200 million .Pakistan also did not receive the due share of the military assets. This attitude put Pakistan into great difficulties in early days.
