Trailer Park: Malkovich, Malkovich

Oh, okay, I guess we don’t have as many *Twilight *fans as I thought. Even with a pretty awesome new trailer, *The Twilight Saga: Eclipse *didn’t even come in second place in last week’s Trailer Park poll. Rather it tied with the teaser for High School, while nearly half the voters are most anxious to see *Get Low *based on its new spot. In second place was the great teaser for *Into Eternity *(which I saw and loved), so hopefully the Danish doc will find its way to you readers in some way or another soon.

My pick for best trailer this week, and I know there are a lot of people who still think this thing looks like crap, is for Jonah Hex](Jonah Hex (2010) - Movie | Moviefone). What can I say, but only that I look forward to a summer movie combining The Crow and the antihero western genre. I’m hearing a lot of comparisons to Wild Wild West, which I guess I’m fortunate to have never seen, but I didn’t notice John Malkovich unleashing a giant mechanical spider, so that’s good. Could be I’m just overtired from Tribeca and schoolwork, but even Megan Fox seems alright in this. I also like being pleasantly surprised by a quick Will Arnett appearance. As far as summer movies go, I’ll certainly watch this before Prince of Persia, MacGruber, The A-Team, Knight and Day, The Last Airbender, The Sorcerer’s Apprentice, Salt and even The Expendables. At first I thought it was the Malkovich that sold me, but I guess since the actor also stars in my least favorite trailer of the week (for Secretariat](Secretariat (2010) - Movie | Moviefone)), he’s not a certain draw, no matter how crazy and ridiculous he appears.
