ISLAMABAD: City traffic police late on Sunday caught Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani’s son for a violation and served him a ticket, which he received civilly and also paid the fine personally.
Sources told Dawn on Monday that Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) Liaquat of the Islamabad Traffic Police (ITP), who was deployed at Radio Pakistan, spotted a car (LEC-411) being driven with high beam.
The ASI signaled the vehicle to stop and informed the driver that he had committed a violation by using high beam. He asked for documents to issue a fine ticket.
The violator introduced him as Moosa Gilani, a son of the premier, but the ITP official again sought the documents.
Mr Gilani handed over the car’s registration book to the police official, who issued him a ticket carrying a fine of Rs200.
Mr Gilani himself visited a National Bank’s branch on Monday and paid the fine to get the vehicle’s document back. He also visited the ITP Headquarters, met senior officers there and commended the ASI’s ‘honesty and zero tolerance.
The violator introduced him as Moosa Gilani, a son of the premier.

These kinds of actions required right after partition. However PM's son has set a good example for all VVVVVIP to follow laws of the country. Its never too late.
^ But he did try to introduce himself as the PM's bachoongra at first. His 'humble' behavior came AFTER he was handed the ticket, and when he realized it could become a media frenzy.
There is a group in Pakistan which calls themselves the 'Zardari Lovers Association', and I am not even making this up but to be fair they probably dont know what 'lover' implies. It consists of the biggest arse wipers and jiyalaz ever, and they chalk the streets and write down slogans on walls in favor of their crooked leader. Anwar Pasha, are you part of that association too?
bachoongra of PM has set a good example. In past people with lower levels including military officers created a lots of hue and cry and some attacked police stations during Zia's time. I think it is high time that every one should leave party affiliation or affection set a side, and praise what is right conduct by a VVVVVIP or person in opposition.

What wrong there by P.M. or his son ?. Can you read newspaper Khabrain Rawalpindi of 20th. I have read myself but I could not find at net. PML N$ MNA and his group assaulted at a home of one old man in soth Punjab and beaten him and other family members and than they arranged nikkah on phone with one Iqbal at Karachi. Zabardasti

Niden there is room for improvement my friend. Instead of introducing himself as the premier's bachoongra, he should have just taken the ticket like a man.
Good to know that the bacha got ticketed and that father paid for the ticket. The reason we are "appreciating" it that it could've gotten worse like son slapped the police, or the ASI gets a call from his senior and ASI apologizing etc. I hope it doesn't get beyond Gillani paying the ticket and visiting ITP and "commending" ASI's honesty.
