Traffic Police performance by how many CHALLAN or control flow of traffic
I want to share and want to know from IG Traffic Police how they consider the performance of traffic policemen’s by knowing how many challan he did wrong or right, how he control the traffic flow in normal or peak hours.

I very regret and dis-appoint to see usually in evening hours traffic always traffic jammed specially in the SADDAR, ABDUALLAH HARRON ROAD, M.A.JINNAH ROAD for the following reasons.

  1. Perhaps we do not follow the traffic rules and always in hurry
  2. Traffic Police men’s always dis-appear where the traffic jammed
  3. Due to load shedding traffic signal not working
  4. Every people in hurry and want to reach destination in the shortest time

If any higher authority take some pain and how why traffic normally jammed. KESC make sure when making load shedding any area than TRAFFIC SIGNAL never affected.
Those who violate and donot follow the traffic signal should be fined but very shameful, surprise punishment for those innocent riders whom the traffic police official caught.

More interesting to share thousand violate traffic rules but only selected get fined or punishment? This is justice or in-justice who decide. Those traffic police men’s dis-appears or do not performing duty honestly take a immediate action against all BLACK SHEEPS.

Why traffic policemen’s always eager to make a challan near traffic signal’s and never think to care or control traffic flow the better way. If we all follow the traffic rules and do not violate than reach our place on schedule time and never our precious time wasted.

Thanking You

Yours faithfully

Re: Traffic Police performance by how many CHALLAN or control flow of traffic

The answer is simple, to hire a different team of traffic wardens like they have done in other parts of the country... they are paid higher so arent that susceptible to bribery... they have some minimum qualifications set forth so they are much more competent, and have better working hours, facilitate to regulate traffic. As for the KESC thing, the only solution is to make sure traffic signals arent hooked up to commercial/residential lines which get schedule power outtages. Quite a simple solution to such a grave problem.
