Tour de Pakistan Cyclists reach Hyderabad](Geo News: Latest News Breaking, Live Videos, World, Entertainment, Royal)
HYDERABAD: The first phase of the 13th Tour de Pakistan Cycle Race has been completed when the participants reached Hyderabad. A New Zealand cyclist, Robin Reid won this phase.
Reid crossed distance of 156 km in four hours, 26 minutes, 13 seconds to obtain first position. Justin Kaer, also from New Zealand, finished second and Pakistan’s Hafiz Mustansar of Sui Southern Gas came third.
Sodhera (Sri Lanka), Saqafat Shah (Pakistan Army) and Mohammad Saleem (Pakistan Army) secured fourth, fifth and sixth positions, respectively.
Two cyclists, Siddiq and Irfan during the race were injured in a collision near Nooriabad.
The cyclists were received and garlanded by District Nazim of Hyderabad Kunwar Naveed and other officials when the Asia’s biggest cycle race, started from Mazar-e-Quaid, Karachi, reached Hyderabad Bypass.
The participants of the race, after one-day stay in Hyderabad, will leave for Moro on Monday for the second phase of the race.
