Yaar you cant blame Ijaz. I mean, the guy got a series of ducks in the domestic games he`s played in the last few weeks and out of nowhere he’s sent to New Zealand and asked to open the innings. I dont really like Ijaz but thats just totally unfair. Sending a out of form batsman to a foreign tour as a re-inforcement and then asking him to open…thats just ridiculous. To Ijaz’s credit, he was trying his best to hang in there but he was visibly nervous and looked very much out of touch.
Anyway, PCB is full of a bunch of morons so decisions such as these are expected.
Inzamam is lucky yo be there, Astle dropped a sitter. Hopefully Inzy will make the best of it and play a big knock. But the key players will be Yousef and Younis with Faisal dropping anchor and keeping his end intact.

Yeah Saqlain had a good time slogging away but Yousef Youhana is the key for Pakistan. He needs to carry on and a get a hundred tomorrow and take Pakistan past the Kiwi total into some sort of lead to ensure a draw. If the Pakistanis collapse tomorrow and the Kiwis have a 100+ run lead then this match could head for a result. Therefore, Pakistan needs to wipe out the deficit and then try and pick up a bit of a lead, to ensure this test will end with no result.
YY has to play a key role now as he has to get pass the NZ score, or atleast get near as posssible, well he will be loookin forward to the 3figure mark!

well this is the third double century in a weeek, welll cricket is at its best, first a fighting one by VVS Laxman, then earlier in this test Match by Mathew Sinclair and then Yousuf Youhana, great battting display, an innnings without any chance, a tiering shot made him waste his wicket!
well Saqlain Mushtaq should be praised and he should be given the credit as he is consdered as a taile ender, agar ye out hota to line lag jaaati n YY wouldnt be able to get his higest total!
well the test match is definately a draw unlesss Pakistan comes out with a miracle by getting them out for cheap score!
