Tough days ahead for PMLN?

During the past few months the media has been pretty lenient on PMLN. Suddenly they have started raising news stories about corruption in road projects, farmer agitation, nandipur project and so on. I was reading somewhere that NAB has started operating against Rana Mashood on corruption charges. Honeymoon period over? Tough days for PMLN have started?

Nandipur plant full of faults

Re: Tough days ahead for PMLN?

They are getting their due share of criticism thanks to their stupid policies.
The policy for Electricity of this govt. are plain stupid. I am wondering where is the thread about nundi pur miracle of xxxx .which was supposed to be costing us too much and now it is stopped.
For the so called 100 MW Solar power plant , Mr. SS believe just got to know today that it will deliver 18 MW only. so now he is chanting all around that the standard efficiency of solar plants is 17 - 18 % all aorund the world. He dont knwo that world made their priorities based on their own economic conditions.

But I favor their policy of With holding tax on banking transactions.

Re: Tough days ahead for PMLN?

Funnily enough shahbaz sharif is lamenting that a media trial of the party is being carried out with regards to their power projects. The media could not have been more kinder to them…

Time for another aghaz-e-huqooq-jamhoriyat package for media paid for by IMF tranche.

PS What happened to irfan siddqiui? "love" his columns... :D

Re: Tough days ahead for PMLN?

As per the latest news, Dharna is to be blamed for Nandipur failure according to Shahbaz Sharif :)

Re: Tough days ahead for PMLN?

Kamran Khan has been pulling Shahbaz Sharifs pants down.

Hilarious stuff.

How are people still in love with these incompetent buffoons? :D

Re: Tough days ahead for PMLN?

While we are at it, time to reflect back and determine how much education levels have increased since we spent over Rs 50 billion on laptops and Danish schools. Millions more were spent on advertisements and then no audit was completed either. Even if there is no corruption, these projects were mainly initiated purely to win votes of youth (confirmed by famour Rana Mashood leaked videos as well) so it's insane if such massive amounts were wasted for political gains.

Re: Tough days ahead for PMLN?

I think they are responsible for failure quaid e Azam solar park, dharna was in Islamabad and the latter in Bahawalpur

Re: Tough days ahead for PMLN?

So more than 100 billion were spent on nandipur and Bahawalpur solar park which are giving an output of around 12 MW, and they don't want people to ask questions.

Re: Tough days ahead for PMLN?

I think you guys are all missing the real burning issue for the country which is Imran Khan using Jahangir Tareen's plane.

Re: Tough days ahead for PMLN?

Lol true that, a greedy person who decided to stay in Pakistan losing out on a few hundred million Dollars, luxurious life in UK and peace of mind SO HE COULD USE JAHANGIR TAREEN'S PLANE.

Re: Tough days ahead for PMLN?

Its PMLN's lies and overstatements that are doing them in. They rely a lot on things looking rosy on paper in order to garner support, whether its from voters, or from IMF, or the media.
Solar parks was never meant to produce more than 10-15% of its capacity. But the way they advertised it, they made it sound as if it was a 100MW plant that was actually producing 100MW of power.
They used the same gimmick with Nandipur, where they claimed to have activated it despite it being useless.
Now that all these gimmicks are finally coming back to bite them, we will soon start hearing chants similar to what we are hearing from Sindh, ala media trial, victimization, establishment etc etc.
