Okie..can someone explain/show me the difference between a lengha, gharara and sharara..?
Lehenga and sharara are the same things (the skirt types) and gharars are the trouser types.

sharara and gharara are sumwat similar, i think gharara is wat fatimah jinnah use to wear all the time:D

Ghararah has two legs as u said but their khameez is long ...sometimes goes till the knees or little above knees.
Shararah on the other hand.....the bottom part is just like lehenga....sometimes more folds and bigger........ but their khameez is long just like ghararah's khameez.
Lehnga has small khameez/blouse which usually goes till the waist, or sometimes above the waist.... mostly Indian stores have them. Their bottom part is just like shararah....but sometimes with less folds
ahh so the major difference is the kameez!...
Sharara is what the lady is wearing in the first picture...what Kareena wears in that song 'bolay chooriyaan'.
Lehnga is a long umbrella cut skirt.
Gharara is the kind that Fatima Jinnah wore, the sort that is worn in Lucknow/Hyderabad or in the movie 'Pakeeza', two legs with less width from the top till the knees and then after the knees it has a seperate piece which has a lot of pletes in it.
A gharara is pretty much a rajastani lehnga divided in two whereas a sharara is a lehnga divided in two.
