We’ve known since the Thrive was first announced that Toshiba would eventually follow up with a 3G-enabled version. And while that original 10-inch tablet has since been succeeded by a 7-inch Thrive and the super thin Excite, better late than never, right? We just got word that the company will begin selling a faux-G version of the Thrive with an HSPA+ radio and prepaid AT&T data packages, which you’ll be able to purchase on the device using a pre-installed widget. The tablet itself will start at $480 with 16GB of storage, while the 32GB model will run you $560. (To put all this in context, the original, 16GB Thrive is going for $400 on Amazon at the moment.) So would you rather have the Thrive, with its removable battery and full-sized ports, or some LTE-flavored tab like the Galaxy Tab 10.1 or Xyboard 10.1?
