Not sure if this the right forum..
I am moving to Toronto to do my Masters. Who lives in Toronto? What are the good neighborhoodsor districs to live in (has to be close to Ryerson or Toronto uni-)? Are there any hoods I should not bother looking at?

which uni btw? ryerson or toronto .. either of them, its better to be in toronto downtown .. its fun to be there .. .. :) .. .. i duno that much about toronto downtown neighborhood ..

If you're going to school here i would recommend find a place close to your campus as that would eliminate the hassle of commuting to and back from classes / library everyday.
Contact the MSA at whatever university you're going to and ask them to hook you up with a roommate or any other lodging arrangement of your preference.

c'mon ... the whole mississauga is filled with desis why wld u send the poor guy to thorncliffe ... i wld suggest live closer to uni as everyone else did ... its just easier and beter that way
