This is my first time posting here. I have been searching for weeks to find a good price on tickets to Karachi in december. My date is December 21 to jan 9 2008. All the flights I have come across are outrageously expensive (almost $3000). The last time I traveled 2 years ago in the summer it only cost me $1500 or so. I am baffled by this price.
Apparently, it is cheaper to get the ticket from pakistan and get it mailed here. It is some new scheme our fellow country men have developed :).
So if you guys know of any good prices, or travel agents that can get me a good price in that date or recommend anyone please let me know.

That's very high season that's why the prices are jacked up. If you a month earlier or later and u'd be in the $1200 range (give or take a few hundred). $3000 is pretty high tho, what airline is that on?

Do you prefere First Class or Business Class? $3000 is impossible for Economy my friend. The most I have seen ppl paid till last winter was $2200 for economy during high season.

I just called around for my relative who is going to Pak in late Oct.
Ace Travel gave me the best price $1580.
BTW PIA ticket is now valid for 6 months.
