COME OUT AND PROTEST. We need to show the representatives of the Pakistani government in Canada that we will not remain silent and we will not allow such acts to go unnoticed and under punished.

lol sorry.. don't know much about that...
Im just part of the event page, and I thought it would be appropraite to share it on GS so that we can have a big group for the protest. The bigger the better.

The event date is changed to Thursday, September 2 from 12 - 2 pm.
"This is due to the Pakistani consulate closing at 3 pm during Ramadan, and if we made it earlier on Friday it would overlap with Jummah time."

I moved out of Toronto a couple of weeks ago, otherwise i def would show up. but i know a few friends and family members who are going to the protest. i think itz a marvelous idea to protest and show the world that we are Pakistani but are against what goes on in our country. We are not all alike. I hope this protest is a great success and media coverage is crucial.
Bringing your camera is a great idea.
