So where are the good desi shopping places?

Best restaurants? I heard so much about the afghan places. Want to try one.

Also the reason why I am posting this thread in this forum is because I heard there are a lot of underground aunties that sell clothes out of their basement. I heard they have the best stuff at reasonable prices, is that true? Do you guys know of any?

Shopping place: SquareOne.

Fav Resturants: Baamyan Kabaab, Silver spoon, Cafe de'Khan, Hakka Magic.

Some of the best food : Bamyan, Kara Mia, Tandoori Pearl, Biryani King (takeout only)

Desi Shopping: garred st
Non Desi Shopping: Sherway Gardens, Yorkdale Mall, Square One

Eaton Centre, Square One and Yorkdale are your best bet in the GTA area. For Pakistani clothing go to gerrard street, you'll find good asian restaurants there as well.
Agree with Chora Bamiyan and Biryani King are gr8 restaurants.
