toronto/GTA kapre shopping

I saw a thread with vendors info, both home based and commercial, for party and wedding wear(and bridals too I think) in wedding forum, can someone please help me find that.

Thanks.

Re: toronto/GTA kapre shopping

I was in that area in Nov/Dec, I think we went to Albion?

Saw a few nice outfits. There was another street midway, that had a lot of shops. I wish I could remember the name of somethijng but sadly no :bummer:

Re: toronto/GTA kapre shopping

Albion square is mostly Indian clothes, so is Gerrard. If you want party or casual wear, there is Bareeze, JJ and Nishat. I haven't been to JJ yet, but Bareeze is alright. They got some nice (old stuff) stuff but pretty expensive. I went to Nishat once, it was weird back then.

Agha Noor also has a dealer in Toronto. Get in touch with their fb page to find out. Oriental costumes has nice stuff. You can also check out Shabis in Richmond Hill area. Both OC and Shabis do bridals as well AFAIK.

Re: toronto/GTA kapre shopping

The best Pakistani clothes that I have found in the GTA are in Milton, both Noor's collection and Naz Fashion Bug have awesome bridal wear and formal/semi-formal clothes.

Re: toronto/GTA kapre shopping

Where I can find good saree? Not heavily embroideried ones but chiffon and digital prints :)

Re: toronto/GTA kapre shopping

I would say Indian stores would have to offer a better variety. Check out Gerrard and Albion square, definitely.

Also, they would better know where to get the blouse and petticoat under it stitched
