if you have that long of an xperience with them you should be able to judge how true are their words. Don't expect. Anticipate!

I wouldn't believe someone more than another because they're blood. Get the facts straight, hear everyone's side and then decide based on the truth. It seems like you are emotionally torn right now. Try to put aside feelings and look at the logical aspect of the situation.
