:)

Hello AGAIN
my 2nd post…
I have started using Vitamin C moisturizer with spf from body shop and i find it good…it does nt my make my skin look oily even after hrs…and it makes it lok radiant …
okay and i also started using the desi recipie of facial hair removal…yogurt + heldi + besan…for last few days i m using it regularly and i find my skin very soft and clean… i lyke the rubbing part :)…cuz i m sure it takes of some of facial hair…and i think it also had reduced blackheads on my cheeks…
i wanted to know if i should be doing this daily?..

and i m also gonna buy vitamic c serum very soon

hmm sounds interesting... keep us updated :) n good luck

hi naqvi can you pls tell me how much haldi, besan and yoghurt you use?

for how long do u keep it on? and doesnt it cause breakouts?

I don't think you should be doing this dialy cuz it is more or less like scrubing so do it once or twice a week only. Also, doesnt the heldi leaves your skin yellowish?! cuz i know now the skin specialists n make-up artists tell the brides not to put the heldi (ubtan) on the face cuz it gives a yellowish tone.

Re: :)

doesnt it depend on which haldi you use? cuz i think one is 'raw haldi' and the other is regular cooking one which leaves off a very yellowish color. Have never used the raw one though so cant say surely.

That mixture is actually safe to use everyday.. besan is a really mild exfoliant like cleansers with micro-beads that can be used everyday. Haldi does stain your hands and feet but can easily be removed with an astringent or toner.

yea its really good...for haldi it doesnt leave any stains suprisinlgy!...m amazed myself...and my skin doesnt luk yellow...or mayb its just me!...how can i chk? cuz once i remm i used something on my face..with haldi...and i was in the metro i wiped my face and realized the yellow stains on the napkin it was embarassing :D
but yea is there any way to chk? cuz seriously my skin luks fyne or mayb the hadli is different this time i m using regular haldi used for cooking!

Use a tiny bit of astringent on cotton-wool and run it along u're jawline/cheeks and see!

Re: :)

I used to use haldi on my face a while back.... It never stained my face but did stain my cuticles.... comes off very easily though, as Gina said....

Re: :)

once i mixed haldi in my foundation, and it actually looked good.

Gins, do you have any experienc with using royal jelly on skin? I've read it's a really good moisturizer, evens out skin tone, and makes it glow. I'm just wondering if you or anyone has tried it out.

These days I'm drinking green tea with honey, which is really soothing. Especially during this time of year (allergy season). And I had a couple of breakouts and I took some cotton, soaked it in green tea, and toned my face. Then I applied a thin layer of honey for about 15 minutes and afterward I noticed that he breakouts settled down. So, I was wondering that if honey can help skin, would royal jelly perhaps be even better? I've also read that it has a garam effect, so maybe that might even cause breakouts.

Re: :)

^ where did u get royal jelly from? i used to use Burt Bee's radiance cream with royal jelly but mujhay kuch khaas feel nahi hova. but who knows.

No redvelvet, L'Occitaine once had it.. I bought a tiny jar and it really did nothing. Honey calms inflamation and reduces redness as well. It also is a fantastic moisturizer..
