Mauve is a more subjective color that sometimes leans more toward the purple family and other times toward the pink family. It’s defined as a purple/blue color, however if you google the word mauve, you’ll get a variety of shades ranging from purply-blue to purply pink. Here are some examples of mauve.

Thank you all...mahismart, prototype, redvelvet for the pictures...now can someone tell me the picture that i posted myself, which color is that? i really love it i thought its just my eyes and its kind of mauve but now i don't...just help me please.
the outfit u posted is mauve.....it's just a more purply mauve. I would also describe it as an ash-mauve or smokey mauve.
