What’s with the No. 25?

I need 25 posts to send a PM

I need 25 posts to post a web link

I have yet to figure out I need 25 posts to upload a picture…but I bet I do!

Does the number 25 have some sort of significance to GS or does it just take that many posts to figure out I am capable of sending private messages and pasting links?

25 is the sign of maturity .. like people who are 25 or up are considered mature ..

in your case, it should be 50 posts before you are allowed to PM

This restriction is to deter spammers , who would register , spam the site and leave. If you are genuine participant and like the forums it will take you just 25 minutes to accumulate 25 posts. Spammers are always in a hurry so they cannot fulfill this requirement and they leave .

Im not about to go into Cafe...il be slaughtered! And I cant understand General anymore since it became 'all views'

As for Life and Relationships...im trying, but its hard ok! Have you seen what they talk about in there!

I would have went to Image to post some really cool pics, but im not allowed to!!!
