i would like to take this opportunity to ask for a suggestion. my beauty councelour advises me to dye my hair with dark blue hair colour so it turns jet black with a bluish shine ! currently i have brown streaks on ma hair and they are long !

yeah yeah.. imma get a hair cut soon ! so whatcha think ?

at least i have a positive attitude about my destructive habits.

Bladegirl,

It is a trend in the UK also but mostly in northern areas like Bradford (from what I have seen). On some it looks nice but on others it dont suit them at all. I personally thought it had gone way out of fashion like 10 years back cuz no one round my end has dyed it since , but after going up north I realised it was still "in".
(for them anyway) I didnt realise it was atrend in Pakistan also.

Actually its not Orange
Streaking although is popular among the girls in pakistan however the right procedure is not known to all the 'Gali walay Beauty Parlours'

The dont have the right equipment for streaking ....
instead of the streaking cap they use the plastic ki theelian and usually the bleach seeps through dying the rest of the hair too

then the procedure is also not followed properly
the hair is first bleached
the bleach has seven stages the last being yellow
knowing the color that will be used for the streaks the bleach should be closely monitored and at the desired stage washed
and then the color is applied to the hair

this is not done only the hair is bleached and washed ...its not followed by color so that leaves orange or sometimes yellow streaks in black hair which looks ridiculous

So they end up with Orange hair that they are proud to show off

but hey why can’t girls stick to thier natural hair?? here its like 82% of the Paki girls have thier hair dyed..
mostly red (im not sure if they dyed thier hair, or its just mehndi) and the rest are Blondie wanna-bees
