Thats the same number of people killed on 9/11, So Bush has to answer the american people too.... why???? just like he has to answer the iraqi people.

3000 dead US soldiers before the new year, how many more will die in 2007? Over 3000 Muslim civilians die every month , thus far over 100 000 have been killed and millions wounded and mentally scarred.
This is the reality and price countries pay when the US and its allies decide to invade and occupy in the war on so called terror. Is the violence and deaths reducing? Can anyone see an end to this bloodshed? Is there an alternative to US imposed sham Democracy? Dont ask Bush or Blair they dont have a clue.

WMD's aside, another reason given was to liberate the poor people off Iraq,and the supporters of this war where concerned about the oppressed Iraqis, yet failed to keep track off Iraqi casualties and does not really acknowlegde the death off its own soldiers.

WMD is horse Sh!t, its no secret… all this liberation and 911/AQ is even more horse sh!t… so long Iraq has oil and lack WMD or the capability to rape amreeka in line with far eastern traditions it will be a victim of terrorism… plain & simple.

3000 is number of soldiers died, is there a count of how many soldiers are crippled, injured, unable to work productively rest of their lives etc??

what we dont have an exact count of is the private security guys. last i heard was over 20 000. these are the guys protecting major installations etc. they get paid the big bucks but are usually the front line in any attack by insurgents. so if we take that in to account. then its over 20 000 US guys dead, may be more,

I wonder if immigrant soldiers are counted in this 3000 figure. There are lot of immigrant soldiers (http://www.defenselink.mil/news/NewsArticle.aspx?ID=63), the first US soldier to die in Iraq was south american and was given US citizenship after death. I have heard from Iraqis that bodies of hispanic looking soldiers have been found dumped in trash and US does not pick them.

well the main guys US did use and still is using are former Soviets, Chileans, French nationals and ex Canadian AB's. these guys take the responsibility of security from the army so that army has a free hand in conducting its operations.
They are usually hired by private firms.
