check if your Shift/Alt key is stuck or something :halo: ek baar hua tha mere saath bhi aisa… dono side ke Shift and Alt keys ko zor se press karo… ya to theek ho jayega or else keyboard kharab… in any case, tumhara kaam to chal hi jayega

Try the Edit menu and copy/paste thru there. It would still work if your keyboard is broken. Atleast you'd have eliminated one variable from the problem.

Did you get a Illegal Function Call of some similar error saying svchost has crashed - right before this ? I used to face similar problems when my svchost would crash and cut-copy-paste would go away till I rebooted. Now, is your problem permanent or is fixed upon a consecutive reboot ? If it gets fixed on reboot, then surely it's a problem with svchost.
Try finding all the security patches relating to svchost and apply them. I have no idea which one fixes it - but the problem went away only after I applied all the patches.
Maybe it can be some adware/spyware. Scan your computer with different softwares like adaware etc. Also scan with latest updated antivirus software.
