^ not true. the concept of syed and non syeds is not limited to our culture. i know arab, irani and malaysian syeds myself.

It's Buullshiite, my aunty (a Sayyed) married my uncle and all the elder women even in our family were "Tauba Tauba" about it but it's a cultural thing, most Desi Sayyeds are fake anyway.
