For me the most surprising was Afridi being at no.6. He has had a great year with the ball and averged almost 22 with the bat...not bad for a late order batsmen.

No Indian in the top 10-batsmen (unless my eyes are playing tricks). Kinda surprising for a team that considers batting as its core strength and has some mighty fyne batsmen.

NZ beat Aus in ODI win percent and England is below Pakistan. Razzaq in the top-10 batsmen.

Ah well, these lists, though accurate, just show that Statistics are like bikinis. What they reveal is suggestive, but what they conceal is vital. :)

^ Razzaq had a great year with the bat in the ODI's...but its a different story in Test Matches.

hmm guessing the top players according to the averages..I think few days down the road we would be chosing players according to strike rate also..
