Whenever Zardari is critisized your best defence for Zardari is to attack MQM, Musharraf, Nawaz Sharif, Jamat e Islami, Ziaulhaq, America, Taliban, Alqaida, Japanese etc etc. Ofcourse anyone who is a criminal should be behind the bars and most of the posters are not against it. However your stance that everyone else who is a criminal should be behind the bars except Zardari who should be left alone is beyond our limited understanding capabilities. Now would you care to answer my post from last two days which you have conveniently ignored. I hope this omission was not intentional!!!
I really fail to understand your post. Will you be kind enough to answer following questions as I would also like to give Zardari any possible benefit of doubt and would not like to be labelled as Zardari hate mafia. May be I am missing some point which you can see. I would like you to answer my queries point by point means 1/2/3 instead of generalizing your answer and after you have answered my questions you can add your comments:
1) Let's assume that NS is a corrupt politician and due to any oeversight we don't have enough corruption charges or proof against him. Does that mean we shoould not demand legal course of action against Zardari if enough evidence is available against him?
2) Let's assume military is corrupt, and no one ever could be convicted from the military due to lack of evidence or for whatever reason. Does that mean Zardari should be left alone for any crime due to this negligence. Does my wrong make your wrong a right?
3) Let's assume that 9 years were enough to persue cases against Zardari to to prove he was guilty. The people who were persuing these cases were incompetent or corrupt that they used these cases as bargaining and blackmailing tactics against Zardari. Moreover most of the delays in persuing these occured because of Mr. Zardari himself made several request to delay hearings due to several reasons from mental incapability to God knows what. Mr. Akram Sheikh in meray metabiq program disclosed he has indexed more than 250 such applications for delay made by Mr. Zardari. As Mr. Zardai himself is largely responsible for these long delays, do you think that this argument of 9 years sounds logical to be taken as a basis to quash all outstanding cases against him?
4) Shouild we assume every Sindhi is innocent as you are suggesting on the basis of his ethnic origin?
5) Now due to NRO he has got his bank accounts worth $ 1.8 billion unfrozen. Details of these accounts were published in several local and foreign newspapers and are no secret. Mr. Zardari cannot establish any legitimate source of this windfall wealth, and cannot produce tax receipt from anywhere in the world for such huge earnings. Do you think people of Pakistan have no right to ask him about the source of this accumalated wealth speciallly when they suspect that it is the tax payers money robbed from them?
6) We are not assuming Mr. Zardari as guilty. All people of Pakistan are asking is that he should get himself aquitted from charges from a court of law, as any normal Pakistani would be required to do. As continuation of his position being the President of Pakistan can seriously hamper the normal course of justice, don't you think it is his moral duty to get a clean chit before becoming the head of the state?
I would also invite Mr. Anwar Pasha to anwer these question one by one to furthur prove that he is a not blind supporters of Mr. Zardari!!!
