Top knot

Step 1: Back Brush
Softly back brush the hair. It adds mild texture and a little height, and keeps the style from looking too slicked back.

Step 2: High Pony
Rake the hair in to a high ponytail using your fingertips. This creates perfectly messy separations in the pull-back.

Step 3: Wrap
Pull the elastic around the ponytail twice to secure it, but on the last twist, don’t pull the hair all the way through. Leave a loop of hair out. If you have thick hair, create this loop using a second elastic.
Step 4: Pinch & Pin
Randomly pinch and pin the tousled loop. Keep going until you are satisfied with the messiness of the bun.

Step 5: Brush Wisps
Lightly brush down wisps of the hair around the face and nape to further soften the look.
Step 6: Finished
Wear with glowing makeup for breezy summer attitude.

Anyone tried this?

Re: Top knot

I do it all the time......especially when the hair less than perfectly styled and I can't be bothered to fix it....

Re: Top knot

That's what I do when I'm having a bad hair day.
