What are they?
Re: Top 10 things to do in London
How long are you going for?
The best thing about London is its rich heritage. I don't know if I could pick just 10 things to do but some of the places you can visit and activities you could partake in are... And I'm going to list them in no order of appeal and assuming you've never been there before (Which seems to be the case). Also, not sure if you've got the time to see all these but give it a shot anyway!
To commute use the Tube/Buses as they're the best and don't forget a River Cruise!
Theatres, Museums and Art Galleries, loads of them, some are free. One of my favourite past-times in London over the years.
Trafalgar Square, Piccadilly, Leicester Square, etc. for sightseeing.
Marble Arch, Oxford Street, etc. for shopping and all.
The Parks and Gardens (Hyde, St. James, Regents, Kensington, Richmond etc.)
Camden/Portobello/Greenwich/Borough (Cultural and historical significance, Markets and the local cafes/pubs)
Everything along the Thames has significance (O2, London Eye, Houses of Parliament, Tower of London, Chelsea/Westminster, etc.)
Pubs (Pop, Rock, Alt, etc.) or Clubs/Raves (Grime, Hiphop, Rap, etc.) (You don't have to have alcohol, just order a coke and enjoy the ambience, sometimes you get established artists and bands so it might be worth checking out if you're a music fan)
Generally, take a drive around London. Its just rich. <3

Re: Top 10 things to do in London
I can't wait to finally get to London! One of the few places I haven't been yet that I really really need to get to. Iamawesome thank you so much for putting together the little travel guide!
For those of you that have been to the UK or Europe... Is it worth it for you to check out a football or soccer game? I don't know if I should be wary of all the hooligans or just joint the crowd and experience it for what it is!
