Wrong.. ladies.. !... you don't need an open road to feel the power .... !
no doubt u can feel the power...but i was actually referring to racing the car and flooring it. for that you do need an open road.

Nissan GTR formerly known as Skyline R34 GTR V-Spec II has the street cred ![]()
Even without being heavily modded, this rocket can rock the roads anyday. Especially around the curbs and corners, throw it around pavement and watch the G-Meter go berserk. ![]()
One word, autobahn!
I was away for just 8 days and this happens.
nai nai, me talking about the SL65 AMG Black Series, a hard core version of the SL65 AMG, without a retractable hardtop though, but hell if that saves 250 kilos off the car then bring it on.
here are a few pictures;
the SL55 AMG has to be driven to really understand what it is all about, its an absolute animal, you can wave good bye to the M6, the SL55 will burn the that bimmer alive and I mean literally!, I always under estimated the SL55 thinking it can’t hold a candle to its bigger brother the SL65 but you know what, I was very wrong, the SL65 even though being a 6.0L V12 twin-turbo is more a boulevard cruiser where as the SL55 AMG is a hardcore intercontinental GT.
the Porsche GT on the other hand is a no compromise supercar but it does have several luxury amenities such as a GPS navigation, CD changer, a premium audio system, A/C and Heater, electric windows, leather seats (which surprisingly are very comfortable), good all round visibility, the only reason its a pain driving it every day is the fact that it has a clutch which feels like you’re trying to break through a concrete wall with your bare hands and more over it is a twin-plate ceramic composite clutch which is good for when you’re hammering around a track but when it comes to road use its very repetitive, you really have to hold the clutch paddle flat on the floor to get a gear change and the steering wheel (mind you which is not a power steering) at low speeds feels like its taken from a lorry, the accelerator paddle sits 90° which means that when you’re doing 120 (74 mph) km/h in 6th gear, the engine is revving at just about 2000 to 2500 rpm, very tiring in long journeys, other then that I can’t find anything else that gets in the way of it being a very practical supercar, except the shear width of the thing (its more wider then I am tall!).
but non the less, I adore the damn thing, its my dream car, its always been, it still is and it’ll always be.
tell me about it…, forgive me for saying this but the CGT is Sex on wheels!.
P.S there should be a drooling smiley.
lol and surprisingly hes been in that car at every Autoshow…
, I hope he doesn’t come with the car… ![]()
in the same way, what is the point of having so much jewelery?, or why does it have to be Jimmy Choo and why not any ordinary pair of shoes?, why Gucci and Prada?, why make-up?.
a fast car is a mans thing, you women wouldn’t understand, the sensation of speed cannot be replicated.
the biggest speeding ticket ever issued on public roads was somewhere in texas, someone with a Koenigsegg CC8S was doing 242 mph when he was radered by a patrol car, so much for “.you do need an open road to drive em.” ![]()
agreed
not so true, as I’ve mentioned earlier in this post… ![]()
the Nissan GT-R I am afraid is not the car its all hyped up to be, yeah I mean its all very fast and very aggressive, it can take corners extremely well but what it lacks is the feel, its all very digital, pretty much like the old Skyline GT-R’s, I have infinite respect for these cars but there is a lot more to a car then just going fast and taking corners, its the feel of the thing, now I know you might have read how the GT-R battered the Porsche 911 Turbo round different tracks but the fact of matter is that the 911 will always be that much greater of a car then the GT-R, the 911 has been homed and bred for more then 40 years, 911 is not just a car, its a bench mark and beating it to its game is a tall order, I was very close to owning a GT-R, infact my aim was that by January I’d get one, no matter if they made it to Kuwait or not, even if they didn’t, I’d get mine from Dubai but it was just one test drive around the test track for me to come-up with the conclusion that buying one is just not worth it, maybe 5 years down the road but not now.
there are many things that the GT-R can do better then the 911 but the 911 has and will always have infinitely more pedigree.

Ahmed stop making it a point to disagree with me on everything ![]()
