truely news journalism at its worst if you class Fox News as Journalism that is,and i think i am correct in saying its the most popular news channel in the States, that about says it all.

Fox News provides news which was not true and it happens when Pakistani army sournded the place near the border with Afghanistan. It was reported by Fox News that Osma Bin Laden's deputy was killed by US forces and they have body and checking DNA, one of the Pakistani Fox Consultant Mr. Ejaj was saying, that they have the body and trying to give to Pakistani army so that it looks like that Pakistani army killed Dr. Az. not the USA forces, so that Pak army get the credit.

You know it was all Gupshup not a truth, this is the reason Fox News is popular because American public enjoyed watching those untrue news reporting. Is this journalism, everything is one sided and nothing else can be seen on Fox news, other reputable US news organizations stay away from this story because they knew that it is not a true story.

Some of the US media not only tell outright lies (re New York Times), but some like Fox News deliberately hold back the truth from the American people.

no one is holding a gun to the yanks heads my lovelies, you cannot blame a news channel or a newspaper (ie the SUN) for its style of journalism, it does what it does best, if people wish to be deluded and what not../ then the channel is in business, and it will stay in business until the public demands otherwise.

What they provide, sells, and why change it if it aint broke.

So far as responsible < or otherwise journalism is concerned, there are prime examples of those everywhere. Propaganda, I hasten to remind you is a key tool in winning over public opinion and keeping people placated. However now taht the internet and multiple news channels etc are available, it really is not the fault of the individual channel, but of the poeple, who wish to remain stupid.

So keeping all that in mind, what is your point exactly?
