1.Constantly having to prove yourself to your colleagues that your more British and loyal to the Union Jack than you are to Islam and Muslims

2.Agree with your colleagues when they bad mouth Muslims and Islam and not say anything even though u know that they are talking B……T and are ignorant and racist.

3.Not pray or fast in Ramadhan because that would label you a fanatic.

4.Keep quite when Muslim men, women and children are interrogated (abused) Abu Ghraib and Guantanamo style. Even forced to participate just to prove that your loyal to Britain

5.Accept military rations because to ask for halal meat would portray u as a fundamentalist Muslim.

6.Have hatred and contempt for your forefathers who fought and resisted British colonialism in the 1920s and 30s because like u they didn’t join the British army to kill fellow Muslims and establish colonial rule.

7.Rejected by your community, friends and family as a traitor ,chamcha and ghulam of the British

8.A minority of Muslims might plan and plot to kidnap u, torture u and record your beheading to be posted on the internet as a warning and deterrent to others who might be considering a career in the Crusader armies.

9.Find it difficult to get married to a practicing Muslim woman who wants a husband that the children would be proud of.

10.Problems on the day of judgement when Allah swt rejects your martyrdom because u died fighting under the union jack and promoting the colonialist Crusader agenda.

Please forward widely, post on discussion boards, mailing lists and edit and add as u please. JazakAllah khair in advance

May Allah swt keep the Muslims communities unified in this time of great pressure and test. May Allah swt humiliate those who accuse believers without evidence and expose them as the liars once again e.g Iraq war, forest Gate raid, Muslims in Guantanamo bay etc. Please
Help the ummah and forward this article.

I wonder how does Islam see such Muslims who are born in a non-Muslim country and therefore being a citizen and national, join army and fight.

What kind of fight it would be? Is it ever possible for a Muslim to justiyably fight in a non-Muslim army? 1) against other non-Muslims? 2) against Muslims?

Re: Top 10 Dilemmas of the Muslim soldier in the British Army

we[pakistanis] have a very rich tradition of this kind of prostitution ....

Re: Top 10 Dilemmas of the Muslim soldier in the British Army

This top ten list touched a raw nerve...so I'm going to rant now.

It's worth it IF you can get rank, and/or transferable skills. I was with a friend who was offered a job with a large company's weapons division (think it was Raytheon)...he refused on moral grounds. I frantically argued with him to the contrary; it is very important to acquire that kind of knowledge just for the sake of having it. One can take the job or not, the end result isn't going to change...the weapons system is going to be made.

Only an idiot would deny that the premier fighting forces are Western. Countries like Pakistan have a lot to learn from them. Given the pathetic hit and run tactics we've been reliant upon since the anti-soviet days of the 80's...I think enough is enough. It's time to rely on good old conventional military might.

It's to the point that I now want to inflict physical harm on those who keep bringing up the 1980's fight against communism as an example of how we don't need to rely on technology or modern warfare to defend ourselves.

Do people really comprehend the power differential between us and the developed nations? At no point in our history was any other people capable of our complete genocide with such ease; why the hell are we so comfortable with this? Our security is a function of the charity of our enemies...how pathetic is that?

the 1980's is a lesson in bravery; not in warfare. We owe it to future defenders of our lands and faith to train them well, and to give them the BEST.

I don't buy the "fighting other Muslims" argument; it's crap. Pakistan has been doing that in Afghanistan for how long? How many Muslims would perish in a nuke war between India and Pakistan? And we're not even talking about sectarian strife here.

Pakistan's primary patron is China...what are they doing to Muslims? Why can a state get away with this, and not an individual?

We either re-learn what the West has learned, or take it. The latter is easier, so I opt for it. Can't do that without interacting with their armed forces.

So the question is, why aren't there more of us in the military establishment? You're more likely to kill a fellow Muslim in a Muslim nation's army anyway...most likely your own fellow citizen no less...

This is a very cynical view, I admit...completely absent of any personal moral reasoning. But I don't think this is clean-cut debate, but one which needs to account for our security and greater good. I think the need of the hour calls for such drastic measures.

Anti-Muslim bigots will jump up and down at what I just said...they can sod off...I happen to think the sooner we learn how to secure ourselves, the safer everyone will be...including the West. So I'm not even being anti-Western here...

So if there are Muslims in the military....I want to know their reason before I judge them so harshly.

Just my 0.02 bucks...

Change my mind...if an army is activly involved in a fight against Muslims, we should at the very least sit on the sidelines. Yes, Muslims are at each other all over the place...doesn't mean we should contribute to the infighting unless we have a sound strategy in palce that will end it.

Otherwise, my position is more or less the same.
