Re: Too tacky for workplace?
I don't think its appropriate for the workplace, unless you are working in a clothing store or some sort of environment where this style is acceptable and common. Sorry, just my opinion. It is nice though!
Re: Too tacky for workplace?
I Love it. But at the beach. On a summer day with flip flops and sunnies.
Re: Too tacky for workplace?
i would wear it...its looking nice...with tights...and flat sandals...depends how u combine it and if yellow matches u...
Re: Too tacky for workplace?
I love it! i want it! and yes, i'd wear it to work but i also work in a fairly laid back environment where jeans are the norm, so yeah, it depends where you work.
i'd definitely wear it if i worked at a place which had a more formal dress code. i don't really have to dress too much for my workplace and especially since theres like 10 girls in the whole office, i try not to dress up too much, but i think it'd be hot with boots and tights!
Re: Too tacky for workplace?
It's a very cute dress. Not everyone could pull it off of course. Your personal style and personality have to be pretty strong to make this work.
I personally think this would be ultra cute with tights and canvas slouch boots.
As for work - it really depends on what your work atmosphere is like. Do you work at a conservative place? Or in a more creative environment? This would TOTALLY work at my place of work, but then, I work in fashion and EVERYONE dresses totally bold.
I say go for it. Be different!! :)
no way! i wouldn't do it!
Re: Too tacky for workplace?
I like the French Connection blouse and would wear it with black tights and something snug (like those soft sweater type thingy's--i have no idea wht they are called--the ones that are asymmetrical)
