Use Kerastase Bain Gommage shampoo - brilliant for dandruff.
Re: too much dandruff..help
^ I tried that and it was absolute rubbish. Waste of a lot of money in my opinion :s
Re: too much dandruff..help
There are alot of threads on this topic. Do a search.
Try Nizoral its amazing. Also 1 egg beaten with 1 teaspoon of lime juice does the trick!
Re: too much dandruff..help
Yes, Nizoral. There is a thread that discusses this with a lot of positive responses!
Kerastase Bain Gommage didn't do crap for me either - and it was expensive!
Re: too much dandruff..help
When you're using dandruff shampoos, make sure to use a GOOD one. I know many, many people who got lots of premature grey hair after using Head and Shoulders. So be careful.
I know so many people that got worse with head & shoulders.. Nizorol is great though.

HAIR DANDRUFF!
HAIR DANDRUFF :smack:
Healthy glowing hair is a crowning glory for a woman today. To keep it this way is not very simple given to-days living conditions. The heat and dust and also working for long periods in air- conditioned surroundings. The important hair treatments](Expert Articles on Beauty Tips to enhance Your Natural Radiance)like perms, tinting, and hot rollers also affect the healthy luster of your hair.
The best way to atone for this would be to go “Totally Natural” from time to time. Just like plants hair too needs proper nourishment. You need to eat a proper protein rich diet.
The scalp should be clean before oiling the hair. Do brush hair as a daily routine, with firm downward strokes. Wet hair should not be brushed, as hair is weak when it is wet, and breaks easily. Take care and the time to massage the scalp while oiling hair, as this will increase the blood circulation around the roots.
Dandruff is the shedding of dead cells from the scalp. It sometimes leads to boils and pimples too. These are some ways in which we can get rid of dandruff.
Tips 1:
Keep the scalp clean. Oil hair on alternate days and shampoo
Tips 2:
Mix 2 tspns of Brandy in 1 cup of water. Apply with the fingertips to the roots of hair. Wash after ½ hour with shampoo.
Tips 3:
Mix 1 egg with 1 cup of yogurt and apply on the scalp. Leave for ½ an hour and wash.
Tips 4:
Mix 1 tblspn of Olive oil with 1 tspn of limejuice. Apply well on the scalp and cover the head by tying an old scarf. Keep it on overnight and shampoo the next morning.
Tips 5:
1 tspn of Fenugreek seed powder mixed with an egg. Apply and leave for ½ an hour before shampooing the hair.
Tips 6:
1 tspn fenugreek seed powder mixed with 1 cup of yogurt. Apply and leave for ½ an hour before washing.
Tips 7:
Take 2 tblspns of Beetroot juice and add 1 egg and 1 tspn limejuice to this. Apply and leave for ½ an hour before washing.
Tips 8:
Oil hair well before going to bed. Next morning mix 1 tspn limejuice with ½ tspn salt. Rub this on the scalp with the peel of a lime turned inside out. Leave for 1 hour before shampooing.

Dandruff Treatment??
Anyone can tell an effective recipie.
My niece has small grainular dandruff falls on herface/body while she combs and causing her Acne.
Also anyone knows scaly dry Scalp (dandruff) treatments...
PLEASE share.
THANKS.
I'd suggest you to take your niece to a dermatologist instead of relying solely on ghareloo nuskhe.
Along with any medication prescribed by the doctor, you can mix yogurt with few drops of lemon and massage on her scalp. Leave it for 30 minutes or so and then wash off.
Coconut oil is also said to provide relief from dandruff. You can also use tar based anti-dandruff shampoos such Poly-tar if doctor has not prescribed one.
Does you niece eat a lot of junk food, especially sugary treats? I've read on a web site that sugar requires B vitamins in order for the body to break it down. This leads to a deficiency in vitamin B for other tasks in the body. So, try taking B vitamins or a daily multivitamin. Also, dandruff is a type of yeast. So, another recommendation is to reduce intake of foods that contain yeast such as breads.
Do not wash the scalp with hot water. Instead shampoo hair with luke warm water. And then give your hair a final rinse with cold water. Use a shampoo that contains selenium or salicylic acid.
Examples of natural remedies:
Apply apple cider vinegar diluted 50% with water to the scalp and let dry. There is no need to rinse.
Take two tablespoons of methi seeds. Soak them overnight in water. Grind them into a fine paste. Apply paste to scalp. Let it dry for an hour
use a teaspoon of fresh lime juice for the last rinse, while washing the hair, is another useful remedy. Or mix olive oil with one teaspoon of lime juice. Massage and then shampoo.
Rub yogurt into the scalp and let it sit for 10-15 minutes and then shampoo.
^ All of the above mentioned are effective for controlling dandruff, she should use a shampoo called "Nizorol"
Dandruff
Lets say T Gel ( shampoo) doesn't work and neither does oil. What shall one do now?
