**I think my masculine instinct courses me from telling my family how much I love them, although I share a beautiful bond with one and all, I just cannot seem to man up and carry the words through to my mouth. It may appear to be easy for some. We each cope in our own way.

You should always be very expressive in showing your love and support to everyone you care about before its too late. I know normally guyz are like "wutever" from the expressions but deep down they are other way around.
just the fact that you acknowledge this shortcoming is great! insha Allah you will find a way to overcome your hesitation.
start with small gestures.....work your way up to the those acts/words that you find most difficult.
many people overlook the significance of words and small gestures of affection.....and yet these are the most important buildings blocks.

Mmmm.. i don't think not wanting to express love for someone is being too macho. Sometimes people have a hard time telling one another anything at all. I don't like to express too much either. I just hug the family and they know how i feel. lol, the rest of them are all cheek kisses and hugs and what not. But my hugs express just the same :)
you need to work on your mind. your ideas of world, and self...take a year or two or more....
coz there is a lot you and I should be and should have been doing before death.
so take accountability of good gestures and man up
one day Monk will spell my name correctly and that will show me how much he cares…
seriously though…it’s not always about being macho.
it could simply be that you may have shown your love for someone in the past and not received the response that you expected or wanted…this could turn anyone away from being able to express that love again.
