i need some advice and mashwara …my lehenga came today ..and the dupatta is TOO heavy … easily more than 4 -5 kilos..i need some help as to how to handle it now …please someone !!

I think you need to talk to your MUA who will be doing the pinning. Get a trial done to see if she knows how to pin it in place without weighing you down.

NB, how long is it? Are you able to go see the designer? They may have some suggestions. Sometimes the length makes a difference in the ways you can carry it over your hands, arms, shoulders and head to distribute the way weight around.

Yes, make sure your MUA pins it really, mine did not pin my dupatta well on the head, it kept falling of my head.

She will have to play with it to make sure it doesn't give you a headache by the end of the night. It has to be pinned up from the back so it doesn't weigh down.

If you're wearing it on your head then get the MUA to pin it halfway up your back so it doesn't pull your head back. If youre not wearing it on your head then pin majority of it on your shoulder. Don't worry too much. For my valima I had a really heavy dupatta and that was the least of my worries.
