Naz, I never took your story literally. But I am still curious to know from your point of view the results in the following two scenarios.
To whom will Allah let enter the heaven.
1) Muslim man, equal amount of good and bad deeds, Strong believer in Allah.
2) Hindu man, equal amount of good and bad deeds, strong believer in Hindu Gods and does not believe a word of Quran.
From what I have heard, written in quran is only muslims can enter heaven. I would like to see your point of view though.
Hmmm.. thats a tough question !..OK here goes..
First of all, I believe 100% in the Holy Quran and its contents. It is the True Word of Allah Taala and I have no doubts about its Authenticity or Origin. Whats written in the Holy Quran is the word of Allah Taala and he is telling us that if we intend to live successful lives here and in the here-after, then we should follow his guide lines.
However, there remains the question of who will and who wont go to heaven. My honest answer is that I don't know !. It is up to the Almighty who he decides to forgive and who not to. So as far as I'm concerned I'm in no position to tell you or anyone if they are destined for Hell/Heaven.
Its all well and good taking quotes from the Holy Quran, but its not as simple as saying 'Believe in the Holy Quran, in only One Allah and be a Muslim.. If you want to go to heaven'. If that was the case then what is going to happen to all those tribes living in the Amazon Jungle ?..they have hardly had any contact with the modern world..let alone Muslims or Islam.
I guess what I'm trying to say is that, everyone should live their lives to the best of their ability, be good to the people around them (Muslim or Non-Muslim). and Leave Access to Heaven/Hell in the Hands of Allah Taala.
If life was simply a challenge to get into heaven, then all faiths would simply tell you to seal yourself away from the rest of humanity and do nothing but praise God. Allah has no need of our prayers, he has countless millions of Angels who praise him 24/7, and because Angels are free from Sin their prayers & praise is 100% better than any of ours !.
It is good to know that there are some moderate muslims like you in existence. If you guys were in majority, India and Pakistan would had been one forever. But alas most of the people in your country are fanatics. Destruction of Hinduism is their only goal. Tame down these fanatics and Indians (Hindus) will shake your hands.
