I feel arrogant parents breed arrogant kids whether they have money, power or education is irrelevant............Ive met the most dumbest of ppl who are soooo god dayyym arrogant it's unbelievable!!! lOl I cant fathom why some people are arrogant some gals bcoz of their beauty are arrogant some men bcoz of their muscles or fancy Ferrari!!! Lists is endless......
However having said that....a person can change as an adult into a humble human being bUt you have to gain insight for that chAnge to take placE!!! :=D
Who cares, you are what are are whether your educated or not, i dont see what the big deal is. There are alsorts of people in this world educated or not, that will be arrogant. Even people that havent got anything will have an attitude problem, you just have to learn to ignore them from time to time
I have money, power and education but i'm not arrogant. I know a lot of people who are like this as well. Materialistic things like these can lead to arrogance and pride, but i've seen many people without any of these boast too.
It's what you make out of with what you have. If you have the resources and money you can still lead a humble life. Some of the most humble people I know are wealthy.
People who attained a good fortune by halal means should thank Allah for being blessed in that way.

Agreed. I also think it could be a person's environment that makes them that way. Mabey they have never been arrogant before but socializing with a certain group of friends at school, or the office atmosphere is what has rubbed off on the guy. If this is the case, they usually do not even realize it because they are still humble people deep down.
I have experience with this after moving to one of America's "snobbiest"/"arrogant" cities (It really does have this stereotype..im not making it up). You come across a lot of arrogant individuals here... and it has nothing to do with how educated they are because they can only be WORKING on their bachelors... or have a combined D.M.D/MBA. This arrogancy could be stemmed from their background...the way they were raised. Or it could be a recent thing resulting from the atmosphere.
BUT - despite this, this does not mean that EVERY guy I come across in this city (and girls for this matter) are arrogant... there are plenty of down-to-earth guys I have met that have defied this city's stereotype who are incredibly educated, wealthy, and have power. :D I met my fiance here as well afterall.

Yea, def. I think it stems from a deficient adolensence. T*hey have obviously given up a lot of social time to achieve what they have. Good on them. But ultimately a paper with "good work" scrawled on it (Regardless of which school its from) doesnt compensate for social development.

So to make them feel worth it :) They adopt educational snobbery. This does put them in good stead for many competitive spheres however, some schools actively engender such attitudes too.
It is only intellectuals that are humble. Even then they are secretly superior.
Anyway. I find ambition and arrogance greatly attractive. So whatever.
I just spent the day at work with this one desi dude. I had no desire to even TALK to him, his nose was that far up his butt.
Without doubt, the guy is super smart. He knows his stuff well. Very well spoken - English is perfect.
The whole time - with nose in the air, and a drawling arrogant tone...and then he'd look at you like you're the most stupid roach ever when you ask him a basic question.
Later on in the day, dude was joking about how hot he is, and I looked at him and shook my head "no". That pretty much shut him up....
ummm.... why would you do that? Who cares what he thinks about himself and how arrogant he is.... even if he was drawling or whatever. Seriously, who cares....... make friends with people you like, baaqi apnay kaam sai kaam rakho aur khush raho, thats my motto and trust me it works ;)
completely mediocre people have such gigantic egos nowadays... so, why should someone with some serious achievements not have an ego? not everyone is Warren Buffett... i.e., a genius but also a down to earth, humble gem of a person.
