Tony Blair heckled

Not really, no.

Milions were against the war before it happened, but the general mood wasnt againt blair personally but against war in general. He was still quite popular for his other policies.

As it became obvious that blair had conspired and deceived the Nation, the anger became seething and so widespread that blair still has trouble showing his face public.

He has rushdie style security as there are bounties on his arrest. He has been disinvited to events or cancelled because security could not be guaranteed. Even to court he comes and goes through backdoors. And He is still jeered when he gets inside each time.

The mere mention of him in articles bring about the most hostile of comments from all factions of society.

Never have i seen an ex PM so Hounded and haunted, so vilified by the public that even though his elite friends protect him from the law, they are still afraid to be associated with him incase he taints them. His own party included. And this was all before the murdoch saga came to light!

Its no wonder then, he spends most of his time abroad, pretending to be a peace envoy, and staying in closed elite circles, because he has definitely become a national, if not an international pariah.

But the best news, is that the worst is yet to come! He cant hide behind his friends for too long!
