Tony Blair heckled

Former British Prime Minister Tony Blair was accused of being “a war criminal” by a heckler who burst into a courtroom as he testifed at an U.K. inquiry into media ethics today. The protester, who gave his name as David Lawley-Wakelin, shouted that Blair should be arrested – but only seconds later he was bundled away by security staff. He yelled at Blair: “This man should be arrested for war crimes. JP Morgan paid him off for the Iraq war, three months after he invaded Iraq.”

Re: Tony Blair heckled

Nothing wrong in what he was called. He is a war criminal.

Re: Tony Blair heckled

He also threw eggs at Blair's car as he left the Court. :/ Now that's wrong, bechari gaddi da ki kasoor si.

Re: Tony Blair heckled

^ for housing a war criminal! shame on the gandi car for stooping to such a level.

Re: Tony Blair heckled

How dangerous and powerful still he is – there is no single court or prosecutor can touch him.

Re: Tony Blair heckled

Blair is lucky that this guy didn't soil his expensive suit like it happened to the elder Miliband brother with an egg when he was visiting his voters recently. :)

Tony Blair heckled

He is hated nation wide, there is no place he can show his criminal face without being abused or arrested. He is mostly in hiding and has huge security when he needs to go anywhere! An apt life for a war criminal, thAt definitely is!

They can protect him all he likes but his time will come!

Re: Tony Blair heckled

This is punishment what a misery and painful present and future for him. A lot of blood on his hand.

Re: Tony Blair heckled

donno about Blair too much but what did he do and din't do to be called a war criminal? when I visit the UK and on those rather rare occasions when I actually talk to somebody about the WOT stuff, the number of opposition to that is pretty much even with those that support involvement of UK in it. So it is a surprise to me, the above statement about Blair is hated etc. I don't think it is that universal.

Frankly, his involvement with Murdoch is probably costing him more support than involvement with Bush. You've gotta remember Brits care more about their cell phones and tabloids than 3rd world blood (not just limited to any one country in the 3rd world)

Re: Tony Blair heckled

angels of death are waiting for right moment to take him this he cannot escape, and pits of hellfire is also place he cannot escape. He will suffer for every life he took in iraq with his actions!

Re: Tony Blair heckled

Shame no one capped him or any of the other murderers. Even this courtroom is a kangaroo court, its all for show like the ICC and UN etc. And you're right, brits and others living the cushy life only care for what they have and can get, and they know fully well these lifestyles are from killing and robbing poorer nations and stealing their resources so they fully support the actions of these corrupt leaders and their armies on the whole. They know they need to stay on top to rule over all and live richly.

Re: Tony Blair heckled

I blame the arab regimes more than the hater of muslims tony blair, because we know these people bush, blair nato are at war with muslims.

But the arab regimes why did they facilitate the US military, british military to launch attacks on iraq???? they are worse than bush and blair.

Re: Tony Blair heckled

So why did so many Brits march against the war in Iraq?

Re: Tony Blair heckled

Fair point. The arabs on top are living like playboys and royalty spending the ummahs money at the expense of other muslims blood and protected by the kuffar. They even see non arab muslims as beneath them and slaves because of the wealth god gave them through their lands.

Re: Tony Blair heckled

by definition, everyone who supports the opposition starts with the default position that whatever the other party does is wrong.

Re: Tony Blair heckled

^That is generally not what happens here in the UK.. People here aren't as polarised by politics as in certain other countries.. Most of the ordinary people who marched did so because they genuinely didn't want the UK to go to war.. A lot of them were Labour supporters who were furious with the decision to invade Iraq as well.. This was obvious from later poll figures..

Not really, no.

Milions were against the war before it happened, but the general mood wasnt againt blair personally but against war in general. He was still quite popular for his other policies.

As it became obvious that blair had conspired and deceived the Nation, the anger became seething and so widespread that blair still has trouble showing his face public.

He has rushdie style security as there are bounties on his arrest. He has been disinvited to events or cancelled because security could not be guaranteed. Even to court he comes and goes through backdoors. And He is still jeered when he gets inside each time.

The mere mention of him in articles bring about the most hostile of comments from all factions of society.

Never have i seen an ex PM so Hounded and haunted, so vilified by the public that even though his elite friends protect him from the law, they are still afraid to be associated with him incase he taints them. His own party included. And this was all before the murdoch saga came to light!

Its no wonder then, he spends most of his time abroad, pretending to be a peace envoy, and staying in closed elite circles, because he has definitely become a national, if not an international pariah.

But the best news, is that the worst is yet to come! He cant hide behind his friends for too long!
