tongs!

i have long hair up to my back - and i want to tong them for my brothers wedding - can anyone advise me on which tongs they would reccomend - i want the bouncy curl look! thanx

Re: tongs!

Don't bother buying a terribly expensive pair if it's just going to be used for special occasions, in fact why not just get your hairdressers to tong your hair for you? A a general rule, the smaller the barrell of the tong then the tighter your curls will be. DON'T brush your hair after - unless you want an afro :D and if you straighten your hair before you tong it, your curls will be nice and sleek. It's worth the extra hassle imo.

Re: tongs!

Pardon my ignorance but how exactly do you use these tongs? do they look like real tongs or is it just a term? is there a different american term for the same thing?
