but not in NA
(oh NA = North America, not “Northern Alliance” :D)
Re: Tomorrow Eid in Saudi Arabia and Englaand
Many NA masajids do not follow ISNA's policy to accept the calculation based moon citation. They have their own moon sighting committees and they try to gather information to announce the Ramadan and Eid moon. So it is too early to predict where in NA Eid will be celebrated tomorrow Tuesday September 30 and where on Wednesday October 1st.
Re: Tomorrow Eid in Saudi Arabia and Englaand
and not all of England is celebrating tomorrow obviously because there was no moon sighted..
Re: Tomorrow Eid in Saudi Arabia and Englaand
weird. I thought it was either wednesday or thursday :o
Have you guys checked out moonsighting.com? It doesn't predict the date eid will be but tells you when the moon will be visible and only when witnesses confirm it, they announce the results. Anyways, so far they have been pretty accurate and they are saying in NA it will be wednesday.
