Which bottles/steriliser shall I buy out of Tommee or Avent?
Which is better in regards to quality?

i have both bottles n steriliser both things r awesome, my son adjusted really quickly frm being breastfed to bottle, he absoloutely hated Avent as their teats are too hard, but then again each baby is individual

dont buy any right now... this is something that the baby chooses.
í have tomee tipee bottles, and avent and gerber and pigeon and chicco and dr.browns (i currently use them), and god knows what else.. i have an avent sterizlier as well as a tommee tipee one (i got one as a gift)
why do i have so much.. cuz thats how much u have to go through in order to find the perfect bottle and teat for your baby! there is also the issue of wideneck and standard
puchi.. u not gonna give bfeeding a try? if u are.. then dont buy anything right now.. its not something needs to be ordered and can be picked up from anywhere
inshallah teh baby will latch on and then u will have the steirlizer and bottles going to a waste.
if u dont plan on bfeeding.. then buy just one bottle.. it doesnt matter what brand as long as its bpa free. sterlizer same thing... all brands make good quality ones.. avent and tomme tipee i see no diff in as i have both.. i got lots of avent bottles in gift parcels and at the baby shower.... they only make wide neck.. my son ABHORED them
then i had to buy pigeon ones with standard neck which worked fine for a bit until i realized that the nipple would keep collapsing not allowing milk through, someone told me to loosen the ring with the nipple which let air through giving him gas
then i tried a vented bottle by chicco which was just stupid... another vented by playtex which was again retarded.. finally settling on dr.browns which i still use.
phew..i have a bag full of soothers, and bottle sof every shape and kind!
so u see bottle feeding is an issue and its perfect if ure baby loves ure boob and drinks milk that way!
and if ure baby doenst like ure boob.. then go from there.. cuz its almost like harry potter and the wand.. wizard doesnt choose the wand, the wand chooses its master

In Pakistan tomee is not available. I bought nuby's and avent's bottles/feeder. She was comfortable with AVENT from the very beginning. I also use AVENT's steriliser , it's good , 6-8 mins and handful of bottles are sterilised.
She also sometimes uses AVENT's soother/pacifier . It's the best and can be again sterilised.
I can recommend AVENT to you.

I will breastfeed but I do plan on expressing the milk as we do tend to travel an awful lot, so i have bought myself an electric pump! I think i'll buy one or two bottles and see how the baby takes to it. InshAllah i will also get the baby to latch on to the breast too but it will be good if i can express it so in car journeys and flights i can use the expressed milk, and daddy can take part in feeding baby too!

then i would recommend tomee tipee wide neck feeding bottle that imitates the breast.. its what hospitals here use for sick babies that are being breastfed but have to be supplementated with extra milk through a feeding bottle and formula.. it matches the mom's breast so much .. and so the baby doesnt react negetively towards the mom's boob and can switch between both the nipple and bottle.
i think other brands also make imitate the mother's nipple teats.. but i only know of tomee tipee.. but ya.. just buy one or 2 and then go from there...
