i would like to ask do you remove the skin for the tomato when you add in the salan

i always remove the skin before adding it to the salan ..few days before went to a friend house and she was cooking salan …when she was cutting the tomatoes, she did not remove the skin and add it to the salan..

i remove the skin when i am in a hurry or want to make smooth gravy.
and yes if you add tomato with skin then gravy lumps free nahi banay gi.
my aunt dont add tomato skin she says its hamful.

I do remove it at times. It gives good results.

I do mostly, unless I'm in a hurry and then throw them in with tomatoes, though I then end up fishing the loose skins out.

i don't ever and nobody else i know does either, but my mom does take the skins out after cooking.
