Was this theory of yours concocted and conceived in Nine-Zero by any chance? What happened to the fact that it was Zia-ul-Haq who brought in Pir Sahib (a cabbie at that time) to counter the strongest party, the PPP (which you never mentioned because you were so fixated on Jamatiz and Shias).
Also, how come the only ones receiving Bhatta in Karachi belong to the MQM, and not to the Jamatiz, Shias, or Peepliyaz?
As per my Information ( cannot confirm if it is right or not) Jamatis use to rule Karachi, although they were not involved in Bhata-Khori, niether they were seen burning people alive nor they have ever been accused of mass-murders, still they had some bad attributes attached to their name.
What MQM did, they brought the under-world into upper world, being a political power and head of criminal activities, have created a state within a state kind f thing, to which other parties, like, ANP and others have to resist in order to survive, Iam sure if MQM is disarmed ad disarrayed 70% violence and fear factor of Karachi City will be dissolved right away.
