that i have tried to answer many times..i had the exact same question....and i believe it is because of lack of fitness and poor stamina..he can give that much in 4 overs to bowl those yorkers and fast short pitch balls but after that he starts losing it and those yorkers lose the force and become half volleys or on your legs...plus once he is thrashed, he is mentally very weak...

Malik always brings out his best against India... he has an 51.80 average in ODIs vs India compared with 33.03 overall
